The last time my car went in for a big 90000 miles service I was afraid of how much had to be done. When John looked at the brakes, he noticed that my driving style had kept the brake pads still in good shape. He offered to not replace them until it is really needed. I know that it would have been easy for him to just replace the brakes and charge me for it. But he didn’t. I appreciate an honest car mechanic who knows what he is talking about. I took my Ford F150 to Citadel Auto because my truck was running rough. I dropped it off at about 8:15 am and John called me back in about an hour. He told me that he found a problem with my fuel pump and quoted me a price for repairs.
I was delighted to get a call after lunch telling me that my truck was ready. John saved the old part to show me where it failed and that was about 2 years ago.
Since then, John has replaced my starter and water pump.
I sent my son to John when he needed brakes and Patrick also got great service. I would highly recommend Citadel Auto for service on your vehicle.
John takes the time to explain everything and the price is right.
